I... can't be the only one who now gets worse performance on dA after the change? I'm 90% sure it's just cosmetic, but after the new logo + headbar the site seems to play up a bit when first loading. Ah well.
I haven't been uploading much lately; it's not that I'm not drawing much, actually I've been doing it a great deal more than before I got my tablet. It's just that most of it is pretty small and, well, it's hard to describe but it doesn't feel 'big enough' to put in my gallery? It's silly, loose fan art and miscellaneous sketches and such. You can see what I mean in my art tag.

DAI has also consumed me. Amazing. I feel like I'm about to get pushed over the threshold and just do tonnes of fan art -- it got me attempting to write fanfic again, even.
Anyway! My account's not dead (nowhere near), I'm just distracted and busy and plotting out big deviations. Class is out for the year but that ate into my time too -- 3d modelling is fun. At the start of next year we have to conceptualize and block out a full level, and build it in UE4.
My premium runs out in two weeks. I've had it for, what, three years? Combination of gifts + winning contests + buying extensions, haven't needed to extend it in about two years. I'm not sure if I want to extend it or not. The offer of commissions for membership still stands.
I have adblock, so the ads aren't an issue like they were when I was still new here, and dA continues to be where what I upload gets the most exposure according to analytical data (I actually have more followers on tumblr than watchers here now, but I post art mixed in with fandom stuff there) even though I seem to get a little more feedback there due to tumblr's eclectic mood. This site helped me grow a great deal and I never would've gotten as far as I have without a membership here, so I'm not leaving anytime soon, but recent changes have been a little... disenchanting.
